Today I'm going to make House Special Wonton soup, or if you prefer you can make it yourself at home. It is delicious and healthy. First make the onion and ginger water, put 10 g shredded onion, 5 g shredded ginger and 5 g peppercorns in a bowl, add 50 ml hot water and soak for 20 minutes.
Then prepare 500 g of meat filling, you can use pork, beef or lamb, then pour the onion and ginger water into the filling.
Then add 100 g chopped shiitake mushrooms, 5 g light soy sauce, 3 g light soy sauce, 5 g salt, 3 g chicken essence and 3 g thirteen spices. Mix the seasoning and filling ingredients well.
Then take out the wonton skins and start wrapping the wontons, there are various ways to wrap the wontons, you can choose your favorite method. The point is to pinch the wonton skins tightly to avoid them breaking while cooking.
Then start to make the stock for the Wonton soup, add 10 g chopped shallots, 5 g cilantro, 5 g nori, 10 g shrimp skin, 3 g salt, 3 g pepper, 3 g soy sauce, 5 g sesame oil, 3 g chili oil, 3 g vinegar in a bowl. Then add two tablespoons of hot water in a bowl and the soup is ready.
Then add water to a pot, turn on the heat and bring it to a boil, then pour the wontons into the water and cook for 3-4 minutes. Be careful that the wontons should not be cooked for too long, otherwise the skin of the wontons will break easily.
Then fish out the cooked wontons and pour them into the soup and the Wonton soup is ready. I am sharing a homemade wonton recipe, you can also choose other ingredients and add carrots, tofu, eggs and other ingredients to make a different kind of House Special Wonton soup.
