The fruit glutinous rice cake I made today uses a lot of fruits, which is a little different from other recipes, because I usually like to eat fruits very much. If you like this recipe, you can add grapes, mangoes, apples, etc. The fruit should be very different.

  • Then prepare fresh fruits as fillings,I prepared strawberries, oranges, mangoes and kiwis.
  • Start making Mochi,Prepare a big bowl,Add 300 g glutinous rice flour, 75 g corn starch, 70 g white sugar, 220 g milk,Stir thoroughly.
  • If you want to make other colors, you can add appropriate amount of food coloring.
  • Then pour into a small bowl and cover with plastic wrap,Then steam it in a steamer for 25 minutes,It can also be heated in a microwave.
  • After the pan is hot, add a small piece of butter,Stir the butter and batter evenly with a spatula.
  • Then transfer to the chopping board,Remember to sprinkle a layer of glutinous rice flour that was fried before on the chopping board in advance,Can avoid sticking Mochi on the chopping board,If you don't wear gloves,You can also grab a little fried glutinous rice flour.
  • Then knead the dough to make it smoother.
  • Roll the glutinous rice into strips.
  • Cut it into 12 small glutinous rice balls.
  • Flatten the small glutinous rice ball or roll it thinly with a rolling pin,Pack the fruits prepared earlier.
  • After wrapping, roll the glutinous rice ball on the fried glutinous rice flour.
  • And then wrap it with a layer of coconut paste,The fruit glutinous rice cake is ready.

Notes
1、 When making stir-fried glutinous rice flour, stir fry on low heat. Don't stir fry for too long to avoid burning.
2、 Put more fried glutinous rice flour on the cutting board and hands to avoid sticking the Mochi on the cutting board and hands, making it difficult to clean up.
3、 You can add other fruits according to your preference, and don't add too much food coloring.
